The core steel is 240 layer CruForgeV/15n20 damascus, and the jacket is 416 alloy stainless steel.The handle is made from African blackwood in a classic octagonal "wa" style, with a bolster of dyed stabilized maple burl and a hand rubbed 1000 grit/Tru Oil finish.The blade grind is a very mild convex/flat hybrid, at about a 0.140" maximum spine thickness and a mild distal taper.
